September brought plenty of exciting updates to how you work in Teamwork.com—from forecasting your project profits with the click of a button, to managing multiple projects in harmony with Workflows, to letting AI actually do the busywork for you with our brand-new MCP server. Plus, we’ve sprinkled in fresh enhancements to both List and Board Views, and lined up a couple of can’t-miss webinars.

Introducing AI Profitability Forecaster

What if you could peek into the future of your projects without the spreadsheets, stress, or guesswork? Now you can thanks to the latest feature from TeamworkAI.

Our brand new AI Profitability Forecaster takes your existing project data and, with just one click, reveals clear predictions for revenue, costs, and profit. It’s like giving your project plans a crystal ball (minus the outlandish fortune-teller fees).

What makes this feature such a standout?

  • One-click magic – With the touch of a toggle, you can switch on AI forecasting in your Profitability Report and watch insights appear nearly instantly.

  • Smarter decisions – Once the magical dotted line shows up, you can spot risks early, uncover hidden opportunities, and protect your margins before they slip away.

  • Safe and secure – Your data stays 100% private on Teamwork’s AWS infrastructure so you never have to worry about security issues.

  • 90 is the magic number —The more data you give the AI Profitability Forecaster to work with, the more powerful it will be. The feature requires 90 days' worth of data to ensure it has enough historical data to pull from.

Now available for Scale plan site admins, the AI Profitability Forecaster helps you plan smarter, stress less, and keep profits on track. After all, future-you deserves fewer surprises, don’t you think? .

Get to know Workflows, where all of your projects play nice together

Trying to get a handle on multiple projects? We’ve got your back. With Workflows in Teamwork.com, you can finally see the bigger picture without hopping from board to board or recreating setups from scratch.

Here are just a few highlights that make Workflows such a game-changer:

  • One playbook, everywhere – Apply standardized board stages and automations across all your projects.

  • Bird’s-eye view – Track tasks from multiple projects in one unified Kanban board.

  • Less repetition, fewer errors – Build once, reuse forever, and keep every project on the same page (literally).

  • Built-in flexibility – Never fear, you can always customize individual projects when you need to.

  • A fresh Boards experience – Enjoy a cleaner, more intuitive interface while you work.

Whether you’re a project manager chasing visibility, an ops lead craving consistency, or a worker bee who just wants less chaos, rest assured that we've built Workflows with you in mind to transform the way you work.

Stay in the know with these enhancements to your favorite views

We’ve recently made several UX enhancements to how you interact with and work within List and Board Views, including:

  • Quick reply pop-over

    • Within List View, hovering over the comment icon now opens a popover with comments (sorted oldest → newest), letting you add or reply to comments, add attachments, and more directly from List View.

This improvement keeps the context of the task list and reduces clicks that it would normally take to go back and forth when replying, all while speeding up collaboration.

  • Board View options

    • You can now set preferences directly within Board settings for including sub-tasks and completed tasks. If you’re an admin, you can set team-wide board defaults at the project- or Workflow-level.

This means easier alignment with existing Workflows and reduced migration friction for an all-around smoother experience.
